What it is
Public Share Links is the governed external-distribution surface. Every Studio asset can produce a public read-only link with configurable expiry, view-count limits, password protection, and watermarking. Per-link usage tracking (views, unique viewers, originating geo, last-used) surfaces in the Library panel. Revocation is instant. Every share event lands in the audit log for SOC 2 / ISO 27001 readiness.

7 features
Each share link carries its own configuration: expiry date, max view count, optional password, optional watermark (with the viewer's email rendered into the asset), optional email-domain allowlist. Defaults are workspace-configurable so the org-wide policy auto-applies to new shares.

Every share link carries telemetry: total views, unique viewer count, originating-geo distribution, last-used timestamp, and the full event log. Useful for understanding which external shares are actually getting traction and for justifying the next renewal of a prospective deal.

Revocation is instant. The next request from the link returns a 403 with a configurable revocation message. Mass-revocation lets admins kill every link to a specific asset, every link created by a specific user, or every link older than a configured age.

Every event around public shares — link created, link viewed, link expired, link revoked — lands in the workspace audit trail with full event context. The same data flows to the Library audit panel and to any SIEM via webhook.
