What it is

Branding Settings.

Branding Settings is the workspace-wide visual identity surface. Set brand colors with hex validation, map elements to color tokens (primary, secondary, accent, surface, text), upload logos for light/dark themes, configure chart palettes with presets and per-chart overrides. Every change propagates instantly to every Studio surface — dashboards, slides, exports, embeds — so the brand stays consistent without team-by-team enforcement.

Top 5 capabilities

The most-built-out capability set.

Each capability is the parent of dozens of typed features in the production taxonomy. Hover any feature in Studio to drill into the underlying nodes.

01

Brand Color System

7 features

Color tokens map your brand's identity to a structured token system: primary, secondary, accent, surface, text. Each token carries a light and a dark variant so the workspace renders correctly in either theme. Hex validation runs on every change to catch typos before save.

02

Element Mapping

6 features

Element-mapping decouples the token from the UI element so designers can adjust assignments without touching code. Override per-surface lets a specific dashboard or slide deck use a non-standard mapping when intent calls for it.

03

Chart Palettes

6 features

Chart palettes ship with sensible defaults plus presets for sequential, diverging, and qualitative encodings. Per-chart overrides let analysts pick a different palette for a specific dashboard widget without re-skinning the whole workspace.

04

Logo Upload + Theme Awareness

5 features

Upload light-theme and dark-theme logos separately. The platform renders the right one based on the active theme — and the same logos flow to PDF exports, iframe embeds, email digests, and shared report links.

05

Undo + Permission Gate

4 features

Every change is undoable so experimenting with a new palette is safe. Edit access is gated to workspace admins so end-users can't accidentally re-brand the workspace, but every team member can preview pending changes before they're saved.
