Key responsibilities
- Design and Operate the Volunteer Lifecycle From Opportunity Planning Through Recruitment, Screening, Onboarding, Scheduling, Supervision, Recognition, and Retention
- Own the Volunteer Data Record, Including Profiles, Availability, Qualifications, Service Hours, Attendance, Waivers, and Training Completion
- Fill Program and Event Staffing Needs by Matching Volunteer Skills, Location, Interests, and Availability to Approved Roles and Shifts
- Coordinate Day-of Volunteer Operations, Including Check-in, Role Assignments, Absence Coverage, Issue Escalation, and Post-shift Follow-up
- Measure Volunteer Impact Through Hours, Retention, Satisfaction, Role Coverage, and Contributed-value Reporting for Leadership, Funders, and Boards
- Maintain Policies and Documentation for Volunteer Eligibility, Safeguarding, Privacy, Conduct, and Role Expectations
