What it is
Gap & Opportunity Matrices is the analyst surface for competitive coverage analysis. A suite of matrices — Gaps (where you don't cover what competitors cover), Opportunity (where the market is buying but no incumbent dominates), Competitive (head-to-head feature coverage), Requirements (RFP-driven requirement gaps) — all driven by the same underlying coverage model. Fit-filters cards let analysts re-slice the matrices by ICP, segment, or category in seconds.

Pick an ICP from ICP Builder and the overlay highlights the cells that matter for that target customer profile. A gap that's high in the global view but low in your enterprise-FS ICP is not actually a strategic priority — the overlay surfaces that nuance.

Scores are auditable. Every change shows what changed in the underlying graph (a new review, a competitor release, a weight tune), the magnitude of the change, and the analyst who triggered any manual override. Useful for explaining a board-room number that 'moved' between two QBRs.
