What it is

Signals.

Signals gives you a product-focused feed of ecosystem events, covering funding, leadership, product, partnership, and market developments drawn from monitored sources. It brings together product selection, a categorized event feed, and category filtering so you can watch what is changing around a product over time.

Top 4 capabilities

The most impactful capabilities.

Each capability is the parent of dozens of typed features in the production taxonomy. Hover any feature in Studio to drill into the underlying nodes.

01

Ten categories keyed to who caused the event

Classification is by the actor behind an event, never by how important it looked, which is what keeps the ten genuinely non-overlapping. The category is derived by the writer from the signal type, so a caller cannot choose it and an unrecognised type surfaces rather than being dropped.

02

Confidence that counts independent families

Corroboration counts distinct independence families rather than distinct URLs, so two posts on the same forum do not confirm each other, and a link with no observation timestamp scores nothing for citation. Above the ship threshold a signal lands; in the middle band it goes to review; below it is dropped.

03

One write path, with a canonical pointer

All inserts go through a single writer that deduplicates on the company, source URL and type within the insert itself, marking a superseded row with a pointer to its canonical version. Account fit, evidence coverage and dimension scoring all filter on that pointer, so a duplicate cannot quietly inflate a score.

04

A source catalogue that records its own reachability

Every source records whether it is reachable by API, scrape or hybrid, what authentication it needs and when it was last probed — and an auth wall is recorded as reachable-but-gated rather than dead. Presence in the catalogue never implies executability.
